Eden Social Welfare Foundation

Eden Social Welfare Foundation was founded by Liu Hsia, a wheelchair writer, in 1982. We are the first disability NGO and one of the largest NGOs in Taiwan. Currently, we have more than 3,000 employees with nearly 150 service centers. There are about 300 employees who are people with disabilities; 85% of the staff is providing direct services. Eden participates actively in international relief activities and promotes the rights and welfare of persons with disabilities around the world Currently, we participate in several INGOs, such as International Campaign to Ban Landmines (ICBL), Rehabilitation International(RI), Workability International(WI), and Asia Pacific Disability Forum(APDF).
