The mission of Helping Others Mend Souls is to support and strengthen the community by providing a safe and comfortable environment for people who are homeless. We are committed to helping the poor in our local community by offering services and referrals to anyone in need.

A non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to addressing the needs of the homeless in Medina County. Churches provide shelter and meals for the homeless. A United Way grant allowed for the provision of case management and homelessness prevention and rapid re-housing services to transition the homeless from the shelter to permanent housing.

The mission of A Place to Stand is to work with local schools, governments and NGOs to identify and meet critical basic needs for citizens. APTS accomplishes this by developing sites that provide services for families and youth in need. These services include stable housing, adequate nutrition, education, employment assistance and healthcare.

We break the cycle of domestic violence through shelter, housing, support, education, prevention, and intervention.Empowerhouse serves the Counties of Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania, Stafford and the City of Fredericksburg in Virginia.

Housing Initiative Partnership, Inc. (HIP) is an innovative, green nonprofit housing developer and counseling agency based in Prince George's County, Maryland dedicated to revitalizing neighborhoods. HIP creates housing and economic security for low- and moderate-income households and provides services that improve the quality of life in the communities we serve.

For nearly 50 years, Cornerstones has been helping neighbors in need overcome tough economic times in an already high cost-of-living region. The service area of Cornerstones has grown to include most of northwestern Fairfax County. Amber Reineck House is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to acquiring affordable properties to be used by non-profit organizations as housing and treatment services for persons seeking long-term recovery. Our vision is to reduce stigma associated with addiction by building a recovery-friendly community, providing education, and increasing acceptance and support.
