GBLS provides free civil (non-criminal) legal assistance to low-income people in Boston and 31 surrounding cities and towns. This legal advocacy helps secure for clients some of the most basic necessities of life. Founded in 1900, GBLS is the oldest and largest legal services program in New England.

North Shore CDC invests in neighborhoods to create thriving communities. We envision a North Shore where every neighborhood is one of choice and opportunity.

The mission of the Community Action Agency of Somerville (CAAS) is to reduce poverty among local families and individuals while working to counteract - and whenever possible, eliminate - the societal conditions that cause and perpetuate poverty.

The Lowell Transitional Living Center provides the most vulnerable adults in the community with food, shelter, stability and dignity. We provide programs and services that meet immediate needs for emergency shelter and food, along with case management, and other help that enable those we serve to make the transition from a shelter bed to a permanent place to call home.

The mission of the Somerville Homeless Coalition is to provide homeless and near-homeless individuals and families with personalized supportive services and tailored housing solutions with a goal of obtaining and maintaining affordable housing.

Our co-founder Marion Austin strongly believed in empowering our Haitian children with the tools that they need to succeed, knowing they could one day become Christian leaders and role models in the Haitian society.

Rebuilding Together Boston helps transform the lives of low-income homeowners by improving the safety and health of their homes and revitalizing our communities. Rebuilding Together Boston brings together volunteer teams, partners and community members to provide critical repairs and accessibility modifications for low-income homeowners in our community. We provide our services at no cost to recipients.
