Just Say YES – Youth Equipped to Succeed (“JSY”) is a 501(c)3 nationally recognized provider of programs for youth in 38 states with an emphasis on the DFW area (75% of agency programming is in DFW). The mission of Just Say YES is to provide youth with factual and relational information equipping them to live healthy and successful lives. We accomplish this by assisting communities, schools, and school districts in developing a customized character/risk avoidance education strategy. We then bring together various resources – speakers, curriculum, and multimedia presentations – to implement the strategy as we present selected programs encouraging teens to pursue goals and avoid high risk behaviors such as alcohol and drugs, teen sexual activity, and bullying.

New Alternatives for LGBT Homeless Youth was created in October, 2008 by a group of volunteers and professionals with experience working with homeless LGBT youth in various shelter and transitional housing settings. The mission of the organization is to increase the self-sufficiency of homeless LGBT youth to enable them to “go beyond” the shelter system and transition into stable adult lives. We do this by providing services such as case management, education services, life skills training, community-building recreational activities, opportunities for self-expression, and support services for HIV+ youth. Our guiding principles are those of harm reduction, youth development, and empowerment.

New Hope Ministries is a Christian social service agency that shows the love and hope of Christ by serving our neighbors in times of need and supporting their efforts towards stability. New Hope provides emergency crisis assistance, food pantries, counseling, and referral services to local low-income families and individuals in Adams, Cumberland, and York Counties. In addition to “basic needs" assistance, we provide ongoing support and guidance to enable clients to achieve long-term stability and self-sufficiency. Assistance is provided to over 16,000 individuals from 7,000 different families each year.
