Ronald Mcdonald House Charities In Omaha

The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities in Omaha (RMHC) is to create and operate programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children. We strive to do so by providing opportunities that strengthen children and families during their most difficult and challenging times. The specific purpose of the Ronald McDonald House Charities is to support access to care, reduce financial burden, provide psychosocial support keeping families together, enhance clinical experiences and outcomes and help families resume normalcy.

Children's Hospital New Orleans

Children's Hospital's mission is to provide comprehensive pediatric healthcare, which recognizes the special needs of children, through excellence and the continuous improvement of patient care, education, research, child advocacy and management. The hospital was evacuated as a result of Hurricane Katrina and has set up specialty clinics in Baton Rouge and Lafayette to provide medical care for our displaced patients. We have also setup primary pediatric clinics for these children. Children's Hospital as incurred expenses as as result of Hurricane Katrina, which will exceed $40,000,000, and we are seeking donations and other forms of financial support.

Circus Remedy

Circus Remedy is committed to reaching out to ailing children both as a circus and with individual performers. Our goal is to reach out to children's hospitals, summer camps for children with illness, hospices, disaster shelters, orphanages and refugee camps.

Deborah Heart and Lung Center

To provide substantial funding to support the highest quality of patient care by Deborah Heart and Lung Center, to provide for treatment of children with congenital heart disease in the United States and around the world; and to provide for clinical research for cardiac, pulmonary and vascular diseases by fostering and maintaining the Foundation’s grassroots volunteer movement, its alliances with corporations, labor organizations, service organizations, foundations and others and by its initiation and enhancement of planned giving programs and other fundraising activities. In partnership with the Center, the Foundation will continue to heighten awareness of the name of Deborah and its unique healthcare and fundraising activities to serve more people without distinction as to race, gender, sexual preference, creed, color, religion, age, national origin, handicap, or ability to pay.
