Cure JM's mission is to find a cure and better treatments for Juvenile Myositis and improve the lives of families affected by JM.

TO PROVIDE NON-MEDICAL ASSISTANCE TO THE TERMINALLY ILL AND THEIR LOVED ONES; TO PROVIDE BEREAVEMENT SERVICES TO HOSPICE FAMILIES AND THE COMMUNITY; AND TO EDUCATE OTHERS ABOUT THE ISSUE OF DEATH AND DYING.

The Histiocytosis Association is dedicated to raising awareness about histiocytic disorders, providing educational and emotional support, and funding research leading to better treatments and a cure.

TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH OF THE PEOPLE OF WASHINGTON STATE. IN 2014, WHF MADE THE DIFFICULT DECISION TO END ITS PERSONAL HEALTH ADVOCATE PROGRAM AND OTHER ACTIVITIES AND ESSENTIALLY SUSPENDED OPERATIONS AS THE BOARD EVALUATED ITS OPTIONS. IN 2015, THE BOARD CONTINUED TO ASSESS ITS FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES AND ALSO CONCLUDED THAT IT WAS BEST TO ALLOW ANY POSSIBLE PAST CONTINGENT LIABILITIES TO BE IDENTIFIED AND SATISFIED BEFORE PROCEEDING FURTHER. THE FOUNDATION BOARD HAS NOT IDENTIFIED ANY SUCH LIABILITIES BUT HAS DECIDED TO MAINTAIN ITS CURRENT LIMITED APPROACH FOR ANOTHER YEAR OR TWO. ACTIVITY IS CURRENTLY LIMITED TO COMMUNICATING ITS PAST ACHIEVEMENTS AND LEGACY THROUGH ITS WEBSITE WWW.WHF.ORG

Hospice of West Alabama provides support and care for persons in the last phases of incurable disease so they may live as fully and as comfortably as possible. Hospice recognizes dying as part of the normal process of living and focuses on maintaining the quality of life. Hospice affirms life and neither hastens nor postpones death. Hospice is a coordinated program of palliative and supportive services provided in both home and inpatient settings. Hospice provides physical, psychological, social, and spiritual care for dying persons and their families.

Our mission as the central voice in Michigan is to help prevent Lyme Disease and other Tick-Borne Disorders while providing support and education to Lyme Disease patients, caregivers, Health Care Professionals and the general public.

At Laurel House, we open our home and hearts providing a welcoming, safe environment to residents during their final days of life and their families. A dedicated staff and caring volunteers care for our resident’s physical, emotional and spiritual needs, under the guidance of hospice philosophies. The National Gaucher Foundation (NGF) was established in 1984 as a non-profit, tax exempt organization dedicated to supporting and promoting research towards the cause, treatments and a cure for Gaucher Disease. Our mission has expanded to promote education and awareness, fund financial programs vital to the Gaucher community and to meet the ever-increasing needs of individuals with Gaucher disease and their families.
