Our Purpose: AIMWell Kids partners with schools to offer yoga classes to students while in school. Our purpose stems from research that yoga is an accessible modality of working through trauma, emotions, maintaining and aiding physical health, and forming positive connections. Additionally, we believe self-regulation, emotional control, and reactions to stress are taught skills that we hope to help develop.AIMWell Kids is the future of Yoga in the Classroom.

Pacific Textile Arts is a non-profit organization devoted to furthering education, dialogue, and support for a broad range of textile and related arts. We are headquartered on the Mendocino Coast, but our membership now includes fiber people from all areas in California and many from out of state. With the help of generous donors, we have purchased property in Fort Bragg, California, which will soon serve as a small yet energetic center for the textile arts. The property is adjacent to the world renowned fine wood working studio run by the College of the Redwoods Fort Bragg Campus.

The mission of Alliance College-Ready Public Schools, a nonprofit charter management organization, is to open and operate a network of small, high-performing 9-12 and 6-8 public schools in historically underachieving, low-income communities in California that will annually demonstrate student academic achievement growth and graduate students ready for success in college.  Our mission is accomplished through the implementation of Alliance’s five core values:  high expectations for all students, small personalized learning communities, increased instructional time, highly effective teachers and principals, and parents as partners.

The Partnership for Los Angeles Schools transforms schools to revolutionize school systems, empowering all students with a high-quality education. All young people, regardless of race, ethnicity or zip code, have the right to a high-quality K-12 education--one that builds the skills, knowledge and resilience needed to complete a four-year college and gain greater economic mobility. As an in-district school operator, we manage a network of 19 high-need schools (TK-12) that remain part of the Los Angeles Unified School District. Through innovative programs and practices, we accelerate the achievements of low-income students of color, represented by our 14,200 network students. We seek equity for students across Los Angeles by modeling success and advocating LA Unified to adopt our solution.
