The Youth Justice Coalition (YJC) is working to build a youth, family and prisoner-led movement to challenge race, gender and class inequality in Los Angeles County's and California's juvenile injustice system. The YJC is working to transform a system that has ensured the massive lock-up of people of color; widespread police violence, corruption and distrust between police and communities; disregard of youth and communities' Constitutional and human rights; the construction of a school-to-jail track; and the build-up of the world's largest prison system.

Strong City Baltimore helps people who do good do more.We are a 50-year-old grassroots nonprofit that builds and strengthens neighborhoods and people. Our mission focus is enhancing the capacity of residents and social change-makers to improve their communities. We believe that Baltimore is made stronger by the work of community-based initiatives and leaders. Through fiscal sponsorship and other capacity-building efforts, we provide financial management and strategic supports that empower grassroots leaders to carry out their vision of community change. The Los Angeles Music and Art School (LAMusArt) is a 501 (c )(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide underserved students of the East Los Angeles community with equitable, multidisciplinary, and year-round access to high quality artistic programs in music, visual arts, dance, and drama regardless of their race, gender, aptitude, or financial standing. We believe affordable and accessible arts education programs work to benefit young students and the community by expanding one's world outlook, sharpening one's creative skills, and contributing to one's social, behavioral, and academic development.

Founded in 1972, Omega School provides adult basic education and GED preparation services for low-income adults in Dane County, who are seeking a high school credential. The GED/HSED Diploma serves as a key access point for young adults to enroll in post-secondary education, seek entry level employment and/or apply for an apprenticeship.

Cascadia Wild is a Portland-based non-profit (501)(3c) organization whose mission is to inspire personal connection to nature and community. We combine modern ecological methods with the ancient practices of living with nature. Fostering a community based on science, intuition, professionalism and lots of fun, we hope to instill a deep sense of connection with the natural world. Our goal is to increase people's appreciation of how everything is ultimately connected to everything else, and through this, to help people develop healthier relationships with the natural environment and with their community.
