Our mission is the study and conservation of birds and their habitats around the Gulf of Mexico. With its central position between the Americas, the Gulf of Mexico is a natural obstacle faced by millions of migratory birds that must either cross or go around it each spring and fall as they travel between their breeding and wintering grounds. The habitats surrounding the Gulf are used by over 800 bird species. About 300 of those species are nearctic-neotropical migrants that rely on these habitats for their survival in order to rest and refuel enroute. The Gulf of Mexico region contains the Hemisphere's most important "stopover" habitat, but much of it is threatened by urbanization, destructive tourism development, and other land conversion activities. The Gulf region is shared among three countries-the United States, Mexico, and Cuba-and eleven U.S. and Mexican states. The Gulf Coast Bird Observatory (GCBO) has established a Site Partner Network to assist the conservation work of organizations and sites throughout this region. This network of sites currently includes 67 partners throughout this area responsible for over 9 million acres of coastal habitat. Fifteen of these partner sites protect Gulf coastal habitat outside the United States-seven in the Yucatan Peninsula, seven in the Mexican provinces of Veracruz and Tamaulipas, and one in western Cuba. By being part of this Site Partner Network, the conservation partners around the Gulf of Mexico benefit from information exchange, fundraising assistance, publicity, etc

Wild At Heart is a volunteer organization dedicated to the conservation and preservation of Arizona's native wildlife through the rescue and rehabilitation of injured and orphaned birds of prey, relocation of displaced burrowing owls, species recovery programs, educational presentations and habitat enhancement projects.

Their mission is to raise awareness about the importance of protecting wildlife and their habitats today while inspiring people to care for its future. The Foundation advances wildlife stewardship beyond borders by providing conservation education tools and programs for children, their families and educators.

Many people know things that are not true about the wildlife that lives along our shoreline. SEA Inc. helps them see and understand the birds and marine mammals on the National Wildlife Refuges of the southern Oregon coast. SEA Inc. has been recognized by the US Fish & Wildlife Service as Friends of the Southern Oregon Coastal Refuges.

Western Rivers Conservancy protects outstanding river ecosystems in the western United States. We acquire land to conserve critical habitat, provide public access for compatible use and enjoyment, and cooperate with other agencies and organizations to secure the health of whole ecosystems.

The Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association educates, inspires, and engages the community to take action to keep wild salmon here for future generations.

Golden Gate Audubon is dedicated to protecting Bay Area birds, other wildlife and their natural habitats. We conserve and restore wildlife habitat, connect people of all ages and backgrounds with the natural world, and educate and engage Bay Area residents in the protection of our shared, local environment.

Florida Oceanographic Society's mission is to inspire environmental stewardship of Florida's coastal ecosystems through education, research and advocacy.

Pelican Harbor Seabird Station is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation & release of sick, injured or orphaned brown pelicans, seabirds & other native wildlife & the preservation and protection of these species through educational and scientific means.While we’re still famous for our work with brown pelicans, we have expanded our work to assist all native wildlife. Our facility receives thousands of sick, injured, orphaned and displaced wild animals each year. Beyond our wildlife rehabilitation program, we provide educational programming to local schools and community groups. We assist local municipalities and residents with humane resolution of human-wildlife conflicts. We also pair with other organizations and government agencies on research efforts that seek to protect wildlife
