Friends of Africa International was created by a group of individuals fostering an interest in Africa, and recognizing a need for the perpetuation of awareness and assistance to various African conservation and cultural projects.

Outside Shreveport, Louisiana, on 200 acres of beautiful, forested sanctuary, more than 300 chimpanzees, many of whom were used in biomedical research, are living the good life — or, as we like to call it, the Chimp Life. At Chimp Haven, chimps retired from research experience the joys they would have enjoyed in the wild: climbing trees, living in large, bonded social groups, eating their favorite fruits, running, playing, exploring, and — best of all — choosing how they spend their days. We believe they all deserve a chance to live the Chimp Life. That’s why we’re working diligently to transport all remaining chimpanzees to the sanctuary as soon as possible and embarking on an ambitious sanctuary expansion to ensure there is room to welcome them all home. We are a nonprofit that operates a wildlife hospital and education center. In 2023, we utilized our hospital space to accept hundreds of wild animals that had become sick, injured, or orphaned. Our team of wildlife rehabilitators and volunteers worked together to provide field rescue, rehabilitation, and release services to a wide range of wild birds, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians. In fact, our team provided expert care to over 70 different species of wild animals. However, saving lives comes at a cost. With $3,500 a month in hospital rent alone, we need all the help we can get to fund our important wildlife conservation efforts!

To significantly reduce the numbers of abandoned pets being euthanized in New Mexico’s municipal facilities, to spay and neuter them so that the numbers of stray pets decrease, to fully vaccinate them to stop the spread of disease, and to train the pets to be successful and loved in their new homes. We strive to maintain self-sufficiency through helpful, coordinated pet services and well-advertised fundraising campaigns. The International Rhino Foundation exists to ensure the survival of the world's rhino species through conservation and research.  At the heart of IRF's vision is the belief that these magnificent species should endure for future generations, and that protecting rhinos ensures the survival of many other species that share their habitat, including people.

Founded in 2001, Action for Cheetahs in Kenya has helped stabilize endangered cheetah populations in East Africa through research, education, and community development. Our mission is to promote the conservation of cheetahs and improve livelihoods of people impacted by carnivores. We are the only cheetah conservation organization focused on conserving cheetah populations outside the bounds of national parks and protected areas. We function as a project under the US-based non-profit organization, Project Survival.

To provide a safe and compassionate emergency first response and rescue service for wildlife in need of urgent medical attention. To include triage, first aid and transportation to Veterinary or Rehabilitation establishment.

Their mission is to provide aid and sanctuary to abused, neglected, abandoned or surrendered horses that come to them. They work with law enforcement and other agencies in their efforts to rectify situations in which horses are in peril, and provide horses in their Sanctuary with needed medical care and proper nutrition. They continue educational and fundraising efforts to both help them support their rescue efforts and to promote awareness of issues involving neglect and abuse in the area.

Wolfwood is dedicated to protecting the welfare of wolves and wolfdogs, and promoting an understanding of these animals in the hope of dispelling fear and opening the way for a healthy relationship between humans and wolves. We address these goals on a multitude of levels: Wolfwood provides a safe refuge for unwanted and homeless wolfdogs. All animals are contained in large enclosed areas. No animal is ever chained. All efforts are made to provide the best physical, mental, social and psychological environment for each animal. Each wolfdog is considered and treated as an individual with unique needs and qualities. Wolfwood provides extensive information and education on wolf and wolfdog behavior and issues surrounding them. Seminars and educational programs are presented to schools, state parks, the general public, other animal care facilities and various institutions. We also provide information and instruction to current or potential owners of these animals and the human behavior required when dealing with them. Wolfwood's mission is to dispel myth and misinformation, judgment and prejudice, cruelty and inhumane treatment.

We are in search of nature's six-legged jewels and the next generation of environmental stewards who will care for them. Our Mission: To discover, describe and protect key insect species and inspire the next generation to care for these crucial components of a healthy planet for the betterment of all. Our Purpose: Hidden Wonders aims to contribute to our understanding of the crucial role that insects play within a variety of ecosystems by discovering and explaining the behavior and interactions of insect species before they become extinct. By sharing the discoveries of new insect species and explaining their role in maintaining a healthy planet, we aim to inspire the protection of those species and their ecosystems into the future. We partner with private and public park systems and government bodies, such as forestry management, to amplify our impact and to reach the broadest audience possible, with a particular focus on young people - the future stewards of our planet.
