When we come together, amazing things happen.
In the wake of the crisis in Texas, a group of popular hosts on Clubhouse, the buzzy new audio-based app that allows you to host and participate in a variety of conversations, led a grassroots movement that resulted in not only a week-long celebration featuring celebrities, artists, politicians, and musicians but the largest fundraiser in the history of the app, all powered by Pledgeling.
We were honored to help power this moment of generosity that resulted in over $115,000 in donations (and growing!) that were provided directly to organizations throughout Texas such as Houston Food Bank and Austin Area Urban League, as well as more rural area organizations, to help those impacted and still affected by the devastating weather and power outages last week.
From actors like Mike Judge to Beto O’Rourke and Golden Globe nominee and Grammy award-winning artist, Andra Day, it was a buzz-filled week and one we are excited to carry the momentum forward on.
