Family Plus/Life Solutions (formerly Family Services Saint John, Inc.) has been serving the Saint John area since 1929. The Agency is a private, not-for-profit organization helping men, women, children and families manage the challenges of today's living conditions. As well as serving the general public, Family Plus also holds contracts with provincial and federal government departments, for whom the Agency provides various professional services. We also contract with many businesses in New Brunswick to provide Employee and Family Assistance Programs. FIMC is a Canadian mission operated out of Eastern Canada, working with Canadian churches and other ministry organizations to reach the people of the world with the claims of the Gospel. That is that Jesus died in our place and because of our sin, was buried and rose again 3 days later according to the Scriptures. We are a non-denominational Christian outreach ministry.
We are home to the Fernwood Community Centre and the people behind the revitalized Cornerstone Building and new market-based affordable housing in our village core. We created the Cornerstone Café, a local gathering place where proceeds from our great coffees are reinvested in the neighbourhood. We provide quality infant and toddler and day care and run the Best Babies program for new and soon-to-be moms at risk. We hold weekly lunches for seniors, host youth and adult recreation programs, and provide low and no-cost meeting space for a variety of groups and clubs. We support healthy food in the city through our Food Security Collective and the Good Food Box program we subsidize. We organize monthly total plastics recycling drop off. We publish a monthly newspaper, the Village Vibe, and bring you Fernwood's own free music festival, Fern Fest. We are active in planning and transforming the built environment of our neighbourhood.

The Fondation De la Visite offers free at-home support to pregnant women and parents of newborn children in the 6 following districts of the Montreal area : Bordeaux-Cartierville, Côte Saint-Luc/Hampstead (territory of the CSSS René-Cassin), Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, Lachine/Dorval, Montreal-North and Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. Five objectives lead the preventive action: break the isolation of local families and from abroad, increase parental skills, improve the parent-child relationship, facilitate the integration of immigrant families and ensure the quality and effectiveness of the intervention with the families.
Fort Edmonton Foundation is the charitable organization charged with completing Fort Edmonton Park in Edmonton, Alberta. Since 1969 the Foundation has raised approximately $20 million in cash and in-kind contributions toward the establishment of over 80 structures within the Park. A volunteer Board of Directors runs the Foundation. The Foundation has two (2) paid employees, and works closely with Fort Edmonton Park to both complete the Park and implement operational practices (i.e. interpretation).
