Machzikei Hadas is a Modern Orthodox shul with a warm atmosphere and diverse membership welcoming all levels of observance. Among the 400 families making up our congregation are many young couples, young families, singles and grandparents. Our rabbi, Rabbi Reuven Bulka, is a world famous speaker and writer. He is a Ph.D. in psychology, specializing in Viktor Frankl's logotherapy, as well as an honourary doctor of laws from Carleton University. Rabbi Bulka has written over 35 books on Jewish topics, hosts a local radio program and writes a regular column in the Ottawa Citizen. His inspiring sermons, delivered powerfully each week, generate animated discussions over our friendly kiddushim.

That’s where COSTI comes in -- assisting newcomers with the process of integration, of understanding, and of communication. With a staff of over 200 people, speaking more than 60 languages, COSTI helps over 42,000 people annually, ensuring that, regardless of barriers, all individuals are given the opportunity to use their existing skills, learn new ones, and participate in all aspects of Canadian life.
Toronto City Church is a vibrant, Canadian, multi-cultural congregation, with a deep passion for God and People. Everything we do is built upon the solid foundation of the Word of God, the Bible. We are currently in the process of a Three Phase Building project. We have completed Phase I an air supported soccer dome to serve thow e community. We have also completed Phase II, the main church building which includes out sanctuary,a fellowship hall, church offices, and childrens class rooms. Phase III will be a large auditorium.
We have a strong, consistent membership base, comprising individual craft artists (emerging, mid-career and established,craft guilds,arts organizations and supporters of craft throughout the province and some across the country and the US. CCBC’s overall mandate of supporting contemporary craft in BC has 4 interlocking facets: support opportunities to further excellence in practice for craft artists; provide venues for the craft community to explore of the fusion of aesthetics, function and content; provide leadership in the craft sector through advocacy initiatives; promote the business practice of artists through our social enterprise programming; and provide educational opportunities with the general public to develop a deeper understanding of and appreciation for craft objects and the skill, knowledge and talent that creates them. All of the Council's activities are targeted to support our member’s practice and increase the audience for contemporary craft.
Craigwood Youth Services has a 50 year history of offering a wide variety of services to troubled youth and their families. We are a registered, non-profit organization, incorporated as a Children's Mental Health Centre in 1983. We operate with a community Board of Directors who provide leadership to the organization. There are no fees for services although parents/legal guardians are asked to cover the costs related to their children's clothing needs, dental coverage, prescription drugs and similar items while in our care. Craigwood Youth Services provides a continuum of care and service to adolescents between the ages of 12-18 and their families in the communities of Southwestern Ontario through various day treatment and residential programs. Our clients are referrals from other social service organizations, self-referrals or sentenced to our care. In particular, our focus is on the "potentially at-risk" and hard-to-serve youth.
The Creston & District Museum & Archives is a community-heritage museum with a reputation for excellence. The Museum collection of nearly ten thousand artifacts reflects the diverse history of the Creston Valley, and well over three-quarters of the collection is on display. The Archives collection consists of nearly ten thousand photographs, complete sets of the local newspapers, and hundreds of other documents and maps.

The Crisis Intervention & Suicide Prevention Centre of BC (Crisis Centre) has a 45 year history of being there for youth and adults in distress. As a safe place to turn to when there seems to be no hope, the Crisis Centre is run by 450+ front line volunteers and professional staff who support and empower troubled individuals to see their own strengths and options, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As an award-winning organization, the Crisis Centre has been a pioneer in the industry by offering a comprehensive range of leading-edge programs that are evidence-based and utilize best practices.
