Colorado Flash Baseball is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization formed in April 2013 with the mission of facilitating a positive competitive tournament baseball experience at a reasonable price for players and their families. In partnership with our volunteer coaches, we aim to ensure that our youth athletes are provided an enjoyable, challenging, and safe baseball experience. Prevention First, Inc.

Prevention First was incorporated in 1967 as the Central Jersey council on alcoholism. Over the years, the focus changed to the prevention of alcohol abuse and expanded to include other drugs and other forms of abuse (dating/relationship abuse, gang violence and bullying). To best reflect what the agency does and emphasize its importance, the name was ultimately changed to Prevention First. In 2013, we became an affiliate of preferred behavioral health group. Prevention First’s services are targeted to those in grades K–12 and provided during and after school by a staff of professional educators who are dedicated to the success of their students. Programs are proven, age-specific and include the tools, skills and support necessary for students to develop and maintain healthy, abuse-free relationships and lives. In addition, Prevention First educates parents, caregivers, businesses, law enforcement and community groups, provides on-site and online training for school personnel, conferences and workshops for prevention professionals and programs implemented through community outreach and the prevention coalition of Monmouth county.

The Urban Farm at Stapleton

The Urban Farm at Stapleton provides experiential learning and practical work experience to young people in a farm setting. Our purpose is to inspire excitement for learning while fostering personal confidence, resilience, teamwork, and real-world problem solving skills.

B.E.S.T. Youth help their Oak Park neighbors building empowerment skills today B.E.S.T. A subsidiary WM development. We believe one of the critical ways to stop violence and crime in our communities is by exposing underserved youth to activities, which bolster their job experience, give them a sense of self-worth and keep them off the streets. The Oak Park community that we serve is riddled with deprivation, crime and a sense of isolation. Our program recruits youth, ages twelve to eighteen, from the Oak Park area. Our program is a three-week, three-day-a week, summer youth development non-profit organization, paying the youth a $20.00 a-day stipend.

Joyful Mind Project

The mission of Joyful Mind Project, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is to increase the well-being of youth, families, and school communities through the practice of secular mindfulness. With a whole-child perspective, Joyful Mind Project offers mindfulness education to schools and families in Sonoma County and the surrounding area. Program content includes the mindful schools curriculum and traditional contemplative practices adapted for broader secular use. Attunement to seasonal rhythms is also utilized to help foster consistent practice beginning in early childhood and as prevention of health-risk behavior in adolescence.

The Growing Leaders Initiative Inc

The Growing Leaders Initiative is a 501c3 organization that exists to provide habitudes (character-based, student-leadership development) to schools that cannot afford to purchase programs for their students. In both urban and rural environments, students are confined emotionally, behaviorally, and spiritually. In some places, students never leave a 9-block radius or a 9-mile radius from their home. They don’t leave the familiar because they’re never given the opportunity. We want to change that. We want to broaden their vision, and help them take bigger risks, think bigger thoughts, and pursue bigger goals. We want to enable them to become the best version of themselves.
