On a mission to provide educational resources that empower teachers to inspire future leaders, A Gift For Teaching (AGFT) envisions a future where every student in Central Florida has the tools and experiences to succeed.

Learning Leaders’ mission is to help New York City public school students succeed in school by training volunteers who provide tutoring and other school-based support and by empowering all parents to foster their own children’s educational development.

Lee Pesky Learning Center works together with students, families, schools, and communities to understand and overcome obstacles to learning. We specialize in improving the lives of people with learning disabilities through prevention, evaluation, treatment, and research

Legal Outreach prepares youth from underserved communities in New York City to compete at high academic levels, using intensive legal and educational programs to foster vision, develop skills, and facilitate the pursuit of higher education. We use legal programs as a catalyst to inspire young people to pursue academic excellence, but our main goal is to equip them with strong academic skills. Using professional exposure activities to draw in applicants, we identify promising eighth-grade students from underserved communities in New York City and immerse them in a rigorous, four-year regimen of academic instruction and support, known as “College Bound.” Meeting after school, on weekends, and during the summers throughout high school, our College Bound program gives each student more than 2,300 hours of additional college preparation and guidance.

Our GOAL is to be an integral part of the community by delivering enrichment services that foster hope and promote life-long learning and success for our inner-city youth and citizens. 

The Posse Foundation identifies public high school students with extraordinary academic and leadership potential who may be overlooked by traditional college selection processes. The Foundation extends to these students the opportunity to pursue personal and academic excellence by placing them in supportive, multicultural teams ("Posses") of 10 students. The Foundation's partner universities award Posse Scholars four-year, full-tuition leadership scholarships.

We are working for a day when Kentuckians and all people enjoy a better quality of life. When the lives of people and communities matter before profits. When our communities have good jobs that support our families without doing damage to the water, air and land. When companies and the wealthy pay their share of taxes and can't buy elections. When all people have health care, shelter, food, education, clean water and other basic needs. When children are listened to and valued. When discrimination is wiped out of our laws, habits and hearts. And when the voices of ordinary people are heard and respected in our democracy.

Our VisionAn Oregon where every child can read and is empowered to succeed. Our MissionWe engage community volunteers to read one-on-one with PreK-3rd grade children who need literacy support. Participating children also receive new books each month - up to 14 each year - to keep and read with their families.

The Southwest School of Art & Craft teaches, preserves, and advances the visual arts. We expand the creative potential of our community and connect cultures of the world through participatory learning experiences. In addition, its purpose is also to preserve and present the former Ursuline Convent and Academy as a place of historic significance.

Street School, Inc. is a tuition-free, non-profit alternative education and therapeutic counseling program whose mission is to create a supportive community for students who have chosen to continue their education in a non-traditional setting. Street School's goal is to reduce the high school-dropout rate and provide at-risk students the skills necessary to be college and career ready. Street School focuses on students who are committed not only to their education, but also to resolving substance-abuse problems, learning and practicing life skills and dealing with behavioral issues. Enrollment in 1974 was 35 students, this year we served 130 and had to turn almost as many away.

NRA Special Contribution Fund provides education and training in firearms safety, marksmanship, and wildlife conservation. The Whittington Center was built near Raton, New Mexico to expand educational, recreational, and shooting activities. The Whittington Center is open to all members of the public.

Our mission is to help low-income teenagers transform what they believe is possible for themselves and develop the skills they need to become college educated leaders who give back to their families and communities.
