SANCA gives youth a safe, social, constructive environment to be physically active, to learn physical literacy, and to learn physical creativity and performing arts. Our programs create opportunities for young people to explore their interests and build positive relationships with peers and adults.

Chastain Horse Park

Established in 1999, Chastain Horse Park is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that serves children and adults with cognitive, developmental and physical disabilities through the healing power of horses. In our state of Georgia where 15% of our population has a disability, these marginalized individuals are the most at risk, stigmatized and left-behind. CHP serves this diverse community through our nationally recognized Therapeutic Riding Program. Our riders come from all walks of life, ages, ethnicities and socioeconomic backgrounds. Our goal is make the benefits of Therapeutic Riding available to all those who can benefit from it. As a result, we subsidize 50% of program costs for all Therapeutic Riders and offer full and partial scholarships to those qualifying individuals who are in greatest need. As wonderful as a day is at CHP, we cannot do it alone and we need the support of the community to continue to change lives. Our mission is to empower riders of all abilities through life-changing relationships with horses.
