Incorporated in 1973 to serve the youth and families in the Highland Park section of Roxbury and beyond through educational, recreational, cultural and community building activities. Our goal is to educate all members to be productive and knowledgeable citizens.

The Stars mission is to target pre-high school student-athletes interested in sports, academic achievement, and personal development. Our primary goal is to assist our student-athletes in reaching their highest potential in academic excellence, by holistically cultivating and developing their spirituality, education, social skills, and talents. We put together multiple football teams consisting of 6th-10th grade players to holistically develop them within our 5 pillars-in order of importance are: faith, family, school, social responsibility, ...then sports.

The organization provides youth and adults an opportunity for instruction, training, recreation and competition in the sport of rowing, exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning section 501(c)3 of the I.R.S. code the program focuses on training students in the art of crew racing and teamwork the organization enters teams in numerous local, state and national crew races.

Our mission is to support and empower the individual and community by creating spaces for communion, service, and social justice. We do this by alleviating the impacts of material, emotional, and spiritual poverty through direct service, education, community building, fostering dialogue and by providing witness, sanctuary, and support. Our vision is to create engaged citizen leaders who will honor the complexities of the human spirit and work to create just and sustainable communities.

Women making a difference.

To provide instruction and training at all levels of swimming to all interested youth of the northfield area. Purpose: to accomplish it's mission by striving for these four goals: 1. To assist all enrolled athletes to develop the skills inherent in the sport of swimming through expert instruction and close supervision; 2. To enhance the self-image and self-esteem of participants through positive experiences in practice sessions and competitions as appropriate; 3. To sponsor competitors in divisions appropriate to participants athletic skill and guidelines of the MSI; and to host two or more home meets each season for these competitors and others; 4. To promote swimming in the Northfield area, and to encourage NSC participants to continue their training and achievement through participation in programs at area schools.

Founded in 1950, Children's Fairyland is a renowned storybook park dedicated to stimulating a child's imagination, creativity, and desire to learn. More than 210,000 visitors annually have access to live theatre, puppetry, storytelling, and an engaging environment that encourages language acquisition, interest in books and reading, social skills development through group play, and motor skills development through climbing, sliding and running.

To provide and support inclusive recreation opportunities for children with disabilities.

PYSF provides the main venue in the South Bay for racing at the youth and high school level, and interest is at an all time high. We need your help to provide scholarships and purchase additional boats and equipment so all the kids interested in participating can sail. PYSF is a 501c3 non-profit foundation that relies on the generosity of the community and your tax deductible gift can help provide opportunities for kids to learn and compete in the world of sailing. How your donations help PYSF 'stay afloat' class fees only cover basic operating costs. We rely on donations to cover our capital expenses. PYSF makes sailing affordable so kids can participate. Class fees cover just over 80% of our costs, while fundraisers and donations help us keep up with the wear-and-tear on our boats and replace worn-out sails, lines and various parts.
