Military members nation-wide confront a multitude of problems during their careers, the last thing they need to worry about is their pet's care during their service commitments. Dogs On Deployment is a 501(c)(3) national non-profit which provides an online network for service members to search for volunteers who are willing to board their pets during their owner's service commitments. Dogs on Deployment promotes responsible, life-long pet ownership by military pet owners by advocating for military pet owner rights, providing educational resources and granting financial assistance for military pet owners during times of emergency. The Elk Institute specializes in treating psychological trauma in the military population but is also equipped to address general psychological health issues. The Institute is a Tampa based organization established to provide education, consultation, and treatment to the military and veteran community, at no cost to the service member.

Alabama Veteran is a registered 501c(3) organization with the goal of creating opportunities for Veterans and current military members to remain engaged and working towards reaching their full potential. We try to enrich their life by promoting the spirit of camaraderie through social, fitness, outdoor recreation and through curating a network of providers who each deliver specialized services in accordance with our service men and women’s individual needs.

The Warrior Connection (TWC) provides residential retreats and services to Veterans and their families to heal the invisible injuries incurred while in uniform. TWC offers specialized programs for military men, women, and their families. Aside from a small commitment fee, programs and services provided by TWC are free and open to Veterans and families of all eras. The Warrior Connection is rehabilitating PTSD - breaking the cycle so the healing begins and can continue.

The TADSAW (Train A Dog - Save A Warrior) mission is to provide for the training of a Medical Alert Service Dog, as designated by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines, for Any wounded Veteran Service Member (Active Duty, Retired, Discharged), surviving with Military Induced Anxiety Depression Syndrome (MIADS), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Military Sexual Trauma (MST) and/or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), in order to restore and improve the Veteran's Quality of Life with a canine 'Battle Buddy', at no charge to the Veteran or their family.

Village for Vets provides key services to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged Veterans through financial and volunteer support from the community.It does indeed take a “Village”.

The Purpose of MISSION F.I.S.H., FISHING, INTERACTING SHARING AND HEALING is to organize and plan fishing day trips and provide FISH therapy from PTSD and TBI for Veterans, Active duty service members, First responders and Gold Star families at no cost to them.

Honor Flight Austin honors World War II, Korean and Vietnam Veterans of the U.S. armed services for all their sacrifices by locating, selecting, and transporting groups of Veterans to and from Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect upon U.S. war memorials. Honor Flight Austin is organized and operated exclusively for the purposes specified in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code 1986, or corresponding provisions of any subsequent federal tax laws.

American Soldier Network is a hands-on organization that raises awareness and funding to tackle the psychological and emotional battles affecting veterans on the home front such as PTS, homelessness, unemployment and reintegration.
