Little Friends

It is the mission of Little Friends to empower children and adults with special challenges to live, learn, work and participate in the community. Since 1965, Little Friends has been dedicated to serving people with disabilities in our community. We are a local organization--based in Naperville, Illinois and serving families from throughout six counties in the western suburbs. But our influence extends far beyond the Chicago area. More than 50 school districts turn to us for assistance with some of their most challenging students. Families from all over Illinois attend our training for parents of children with autism. National conferences feature our staff as speakers. It is an honor for us to be able to share what we've learned with other professionals and families.

Center For Changing Lives

Center for Changing Lives (CCL) envisions a community where everyone thrives. Therefore, the organization partners with those held back by lack of resource and economic opportunity in order to uncover possibilities, overcome barriers, and realize their potential. CCL's work connects people, resources and opportunities to build households' economic capacity to achieve their goals. CCL partners with Chicagoans seeking to make a change in three core ways: coaching on financial, employment and resource mobilization goals that enhance lives, training and skill enhancement opportunities, and advocacy and organizing on economic policies and practices that open up opportunities and resources.

Have Dreams

Have Dreams is a local organization with global impact, serving the autism community. Have Dreams is a leader in resources for individuals and their families living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). They understand the complexities and uniqueness of each person with ASD and focus our programming and services on the core deficits: social skills, communication and independence. For 25 years, we have recognized the unmet needs of individuals living with ASD and responded by creating programs and services for children, teens and adults with autism spectrum disorder. Considered a partner for the entire lifespan, Have Dreams meets people where they are with innovative programming and compassionate care.

THE ORGANIZATION WILL PROVIDE JOB TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES TO INDIVIDUALS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES (IDD) IN THE FARMING INDUSTRY, WHILE RAISING AWARENESS OF THE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT CAN BE MADE BY IDD, CONNECTING THE COMMUNITY WITH IDD, AND EDUCATING THE COMMUNITY ABOUT CHEMICAL-FREE FARMING AND THE BENEFITS OF EATING RESPONSIBLY-GROWN PRODUCE.
