New Hampshire Coalition Against Domestic & Sexual Violence

The New Hampshire Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence creates safe and just communities through advocacy, prevention and empowerment of anyone affected by sexual violence, domestic violence and stalking. This mission is accomplished by the Coalition, which includes 12 independent community-based member programs, a Board of Directors and a central staff working together to:-Influence public policy on the local, state and national levels;-Ensure that quality services are provided to victims;-Promote the accountability of societal systems and communities for their responses to sexual violence, domestic violence and stalking;-Prevent violence and abuse before they occur.

Re-imagining a world without rape – powering a culture of consent. The DC Rape Crisis Center (DCRCC) is dedicated to creating a world free of sexual violence through conscience and action. Our call to action obliges us to facilitate systemic change by equipping diverse stakeholders to respond to survivors of sexual assault with compassion, dignity and respect, regardless of race, class, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, immigration status, ability, age or religious affiliation.

The Rape Foundation

The Rape Foundation was founded in 1989.  Our mission is to support: Expert, comprehensive services for victims of rape, sexual assault, and child sexual abuse, including specialized medical care, forensic services, crisis counseling and longer-term psychotherapy, advocacy, and other forms of support. Prevention/education programs for middle school, high school, and college students designed to decrease the prevalence of sexual violence and abuse and encourage young people to become “helpful allies” and safely intervene when they are witnesses in situations in which they could help prevent a peer from being victimized. Professional training for police, prosecutors, medical and mental health practitioners, school personnel, and other victim services providers to enhance the treatment victims receive wherever they turn for help. Public education to increase understanding about rape and child sexual abuse, change discriminatory attitudes and practices, and foster support for victim services and prevention efforts. Public/private partnerships and innovative service delivery models that encourage victims to report sexual abuse, enhance their access to services, and support justice and healing. Advocacy for needed policy reforms and implementation of research-based “best practices” in the agencies and institutions that serve victims.

Avalon A Center For Women And Children

Avalon Center works to end domestic and sexual violence by breaking the cycle of abuse through education, prevention, shelter and support services in the greater Williamsburg and Middle Peninsula communities.

Womens Center Of Montgomery County

The Women’s Center of Montgomery County (WCMC) is a volunteer, community organization with a primary focus on freedom from domestic violence and other forms of abuse. Their programs, policies and procedures reflect their strong commitment to empowering women. Their organizational purpose is to eliminate domestic violence so that individuals can live safer, more stable lives and thrive. Through their programs and services, they work to save lives, promote self-sufficiency, create institutional change and reduce the impact of domestic violence. Secondary goals include providing enrichment opportunities for the staff and volunteers; promoting positive change toward gender equality; and building our capacity by increasing volunteerism, funding and awareness.

Connections For Abused Women And Their Children

Connections for Abused Women and their Children (CAWC) is committed to ending domestic violence. Using a self-help, empowerment approach, we provide a shelter for adults and children, counseling, advocacy, and a 24-hour hotline for people affected by domestic violence. We work for social change through education, service collaboration, and institutional advocacy.

Sexual Assault Center Of Northwest Georgia

To facilitate healing for victims of sexual assault and their families through on-going crisis intervention services; to promote community awareness of the Center's services; to educate our students and community about the nature of sexual assault; and, to foster strong partnerships with all agencies involved in dealing with sexual assault.
