To ensure each person has every opportunity available to live, learn and recover from Substance Use Disorder (SUD) with access to education, detoxification, rehabilitation and employment.

The National Consortium of Torture Treatment Programs (NCTTP) is a U.S. based network of programs that exists to advance the knowledge, technical capacities, and resources devoted to the care of torture survivors living in the United States and act collectively to prevent torture worldwide.

THE AGENCY PROVIDES MUTUAL SUPPORT, EDUCATION, AND ADOVACACY TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE, ENSURE DIGNITY AND RESPECT FOR PERSONS WITH SERIOUS BRAIN DISORDERS, AND TO SUPPORT THEIR FAMILIES THROUGH THEIR WORK OF ITS MEMBERS AND NEARLY 60 LOCAL AFFILIATES.

The National Association for Down Syndrome supports all persons with Down syndrome in achieving their full potential. In fulfilling our mission, we will: Provide families with Down syndrome members with information and resources to enable them to access and evaluate appropriate services. Educate the public about Down syndrome. Address social policy issues and challenges facing the Down syndrome community. Facilitate and encourage active participation by self-advocates and families in the delivery of education, vocational, residential and other services for persons with Down syndrome.

To end hopelessness among teens.

Since 1909, Mental Health America of Illinois (MHAI) has worked to promote mental health, prevent mental illnesses and improve the care and treatment of persons suffering from mental and emotional disorders. Our three main focus areas are to educate, to advocate and to inform.

The Violence Prevention Center of Southwestern Illinois works to eliminate domestic violence in individual lives and in society as a whole.

When hopeless people have a safe place to process their pain, and faith-filled hope is modeled and shared, they become hope-filled and thrive (in spite of their mental health challenge). A mental illness seems to rob you of your future hopes and dreams. And hopelessness begins to take over. The doctor, the therapist, and medicine are not enough in learning how to live life in spite of having a mental health challenge. And those with lived experience (peers) can model and empower one another. As peers, we believe there is hope, and it is possible to live well because we have been there. We guide and support those with a mental illness, along with their loved ones, to find hope that is based on research. That they and their loved ones might have hopes and dreams again, so they live a faith-filled, full, and vibrant life.

TO SUPPORT THE PURSUIT OF PREVENTION, SOBRIETY, AND RECOVERY, BY PROVIDING HIGH QUALITY INTEGRATED SERVICES IN A RESPECTFUL ENVIRONMENT FOR PERSONS WITH SUBSTANCE USE DISORDERS AND BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CONDITIONS WHO HAVE DIFFICULTIES FUNCTIONING IN SOCIETY.

NORTHERN MICHIGAN SUBSTANCE ABUSE SERVICES ENHANCES QUALITY AND ACCESS OF BEHAVORIAL HEALTH PREVENTION, TREATMENT AND RECOVERY SUPPORT SERVICES THROUGH ADVOCACY, INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT, AND DELIVERY OF EVIDENCE BASED QUALITY SERVICES. IT CURRENTLY ACHIEVES THIS MISSION BY OPERATING AN OUTPATIENT SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER TREATMENT PROGRAM THAT IS DESIGNATED BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AS AN OPIATE TREATMENT PROGRAM AND A PEER RECOVERY PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES PEER RECOVERY COACHING THROUGH VOLUNTEERS THAT SERVES ALL OF NORTHERN LOWER MICHIGAN.

Provide easy access to innovative services for the whole person, regardless of HIV status, while promoting respect and acceptance without stigma. We envision a world without new HIV infections that embraces and supports the health of all communities free of judgment.
