La Casa exists to serve the multicultural community of San Gabriel and its surrounding areas. Its purpose is to encourage and support individuals and families in need. Through provision of direct human services, advocacy and referrals, La Casa seeks to enhance the educational and economic well-being of the people it serves.

Skytown Parent Cooperative Preschool has been offering early childhood education in a nurturing environment for over 40 years.Our professional teachers and director offer a program that allows children to develop at their own pace and provides them with opportunities to grow socially, emotionally, physically and academically. During the 2014-2015 school year, Skytown served 45 children and their families.

A STRONG VOICE REGIONALLY AND NATIONALLY THROUGH LEADERSHIP AND ADVOCACY. TO WORK IN CONJUCTION WITH THE FEDERAL REGIONAL OFFICE, NATIONAL AND STATE HEAD START ASSOCIATIONS AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS WHOSE EFFOTS ARE CONSISTENT WITH THE RHSA TO: I)PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND TRAINING; II) SERVE AS AN ADVOCATE FOR HEAD START PROGRAMS; AND, III)ENHANCE SOLIDARITY, COLLABORATION, COMMUNICATION AND NETWORKING.

MWPCCC is a community-based, non-profit organization whose mission is to create, manage, and sustain developmentally appropriate, high quality, available, culturally-sensitive pre-school, childcare, and family support services. We support families with young children and infants. We prepare children for kindergarten and a lifetime of learning by offering them an emergent curriculum, nurturing staff, and a commitment to children's social well-being in an environment that respects and celebrates diversity. Our target population is an economically and ethnically diverse group of children. We are committed to serving as many low-income/subsidized children as possible, and in fact, often we have absorbed those costs in order to make sure that that we do not turn families for lack of funds.

THE WALDORF SCHOOL OF GARDEN CITY EDUCATES CHILDREN TO MEET THE WORLD WITH PURPOSE, GRATITUDE AND RESPECT. OUR CURRICULUM, INSPIRED BY RUDOLF STEINER, PROGRESSES IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHILD DEVELOPMENT, AWAKENING STUDENTS TO THE EXPERIENCE OF KNOWLEDGE, STRENGTHENING THEIR SENSE OF MORAL RESPONSIBILITY, AND EMPOWERING THEM TO ACT WITH COURAGE AND CONVICTION. THE SCHOOL'S AIM IS TO GRADUATE A DIVERSE GROUP OF YOUNG PEOPLE DISTINGUISHED BY THE SCOPE AND ACUITY OF THEIR MINDS AS WELL AS THE DEPTH OF THEIR CHARACTER.
