John Brown University was founded in 1919 by entrepreneur and evangelist, John E. Brown. Brown's college offered Christian higher education to students who could not afford to go to college elsewhere. It was also the Founder's contention that education must offer academic excellence, spiritual commitment and professional training to be effective. Thus, the school's motto is "Head, Heart, and Hand." Today the university enrolls over 2,100 students, is faithful to its Christian heritage, and is proud of its multi-cultural campus that boasts students from over 44 nations. JBU is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

Hendrix College, a private, undergraduate institution of the liberal arts founded in 1876 and related to the United Methodist Church, offers distinguished academic programs in a residential, coeducational setting. AVID's mission is to close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college readiness and success in a global society. Fontbonne University, a Catholic institution sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, is committed to the common good through the daily pursuit of transformative education, inspiring students to become global citizens who think critically, act ethically and serve responsibly.

Service to School's mission is to prepare transitioning military veterans for their next chapter of leadership by helping them gain admission to the best college or graduate school possible.

The mission of the FoundationCCC is to benefit, support, and enhance the missions of the California Community Colleges by facilitating collaboration, accelerating innovation, and increasing systemwide resources. The FoundationCCC is the official nonprofit supporting the CCC Board of Governors, CCC Chancellor's Office, and the California Community Colleges system. Its work helps benefit all CCC students, colleges, college foundations, and the system by strengthening communities, accelerating paths to economic and social mobility, and reducing barriers to opportunity for all Californians.

Oklahoma City University embraces the United Methodist tradition of scholarship and service and welcomes all faiths in a culturally rich community dedicated to student success.
