Founded in 1896, Huntington University (HU) is a Christ-centered liberal arts institution of higher education. Founded in 1981, AFAR is a national non-profit organization whose mission is to support and advance healthy aging.  AFAR helps researchers begin and further their careers in aging research and geriatric medicine.  Over the past 26 years, AFAR has awarded more than $132 million to approximately 2,800 MD’s, PhD’s, and students.
