Seattle Civic Dance Theatre is a non-profit dance company based in Seattle, WA. SCDT provides professional dance opportunities, scholarships, classes and workshops to dancers in West Seattle, focused on ballet and contemporary dance styles. We strive to expose dancers to a wide variety of dance styles, teachers, and techniques and provide them as many opportunities to perform as possible.

The primary purpose of the organization is promote the art of the Brass Band, and to promote awareness of music to the general public. The organization also educates youth and promotes brass music to youth through its Youth Brass Band Camp. Central Midwest Ballet offers our community excellence in dance performance and training. We assist our students to achieve their highest potential in technique while developing self-esteem, positive self-image, and lifelong health habits. Our curriculum and faculty provide our students instruction both in the foundational skills of classical ballet and in a variety of dance forms to help them appreciate the cultural and ethnic diversity of expression in dance. Our scholarship opportunities make our programs widely accessible to students from all economic backgrounds. GiGi’s Playhouse Down Syndrome Achievement Center’s mission is to change the way the world views Down syndrome through national campaigns, educational programs, and by empowering individuals with Down syndrome, their families and the community. We offer free therapeutic and educational programming to individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
