Kitten Rescue was founded in the spring of 1997 and has grown to become one of the largest and well-respected rescue groups in Los Angeles. We are a non-profit, totally volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving new homes for unwanted and abandoned cats and kittens. We are equally dedicated to giving the public vital information about responsible pet ownership, care of kittens and cats, managing feral cats, and most importantly, the importance of spaying and neutering. Our website at www.kittenrescue.org features information on cat rescue, care, and adoption for animal lovers all over the world. The majority of our cats are cared for in foster homes until they are placed with adopters, who are screened carefully to ensure the stability and quality of an animal's new environment. Before going home, each cat or kitten is fixed, tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas and microchipped. We also provide full medical care for the cats in our care until they are adopted. Since May 2005, Kitten Rescue has operated the Casitas Hotel for Cats, a private, no-kill shelter and boarding facility in Atwater Village. Kitten Rescue purchased the facility in March 2006.

Feeding Pets of the Homeless believes in the healing power of companion pets and of the human/animal bond which is very important in the lives of many homeless. They find solace, protection and companionship through their pets. They care for their pets on limited resources so they themselves have less. Our task, nationwide, is to feed and provide basic emergency veterinary care to their pets and thus relieve the anguish and anxiety of the homeless who cannot provide for their pets. The mission of the Idaho Humane Society is to advocate for the welfare and responsible care of animals, protect them from neglect and cruelty and promote humane education, awareness and compassion.

Angels of Assisi seeks to change the traditional definition of an animal shelter by offering services and programs to benefit the community, the people that live there, and the pets they love. The organization operates the largest private animal shelter in the Roanoke Valley, as well as a low cost Community Pet Clinic and farm animal sanctuary. Through the Community Pet Clinic and Adoption Center, Angels of Assisi is able to provide resources to pet owners to keep their pets happy and healthy. The adoption center puts emphasis on these services to help people be able to keep their pets over turning them in to the shelter. Angels of Assisi strives to be a resource to the community and also offers services to area and rural shelters to help end the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable pets.

PAWS is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving Philadelphia’s homeless, abandoned, and unwanted animals. PAWS is the city’s largest no-kill shelter and operates two high-volume, low-cost clinics serving pet owners and rescue organizations that lack access to affordable basic veterinary care. Through its adoption locations, special events, and foster care network, PAWS finds loving homes for thousands of animals each year. PAWS is working to make Philadelphia a no-kill city where every healthy and treatable pet is guaranteed a home.

THE MISSION OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO IMPROVE AND EXTEND PET CARE TO PEOPLE AND ANIMALS IN NEED, TO STRENGTHEN THE HUMAN-ANIMAL BOND, AND TO BRING TOGETHER PEOPLE WHOSE LOVE OF ANIMALS PROMPTS THEM TO FIND WAYS TO HLEP PETS AND PEOPLE IN DIFFICULT TIMES.

THE SAVING HOPE FOUNDATION’S MISSION IS TO END ANIMAL ABUSE AND NEGLECT BY ADDRESSING DOG AND CAT OVERPOPULATION IN OUR COMMUNITY THROUGH AN AGGRESSIVE SPAY NEUTER CAMPAIGN, WITH SUPPORTING EDUCATION, TRANSPORT AND ADOPTION PROGRAMS.

This mission of the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City is to save and improve the lives of dogs and cats throughout the greater Kansas City community by providing education, adoptions, low cost veterinary care and spay/neuter services.

The Animal Medical Center is dedicated to providing compassionate and collaborative care to animals and to leading the advancement of veterinary medicine through innovative clinical research and education.

Our goal is to rescue Bichons, Bichon Mixes and other small dogs from high euthanasia shelters, to provide them with medical services and place them into the care of loving guardians.
