Golden Retriever Rescue Of Wisconsin

Our mission: To encourage and promote responsible dog ownership and to reduce the abuse and neglect of all Golden Retrievers through rehabilitation and adoption. To do all in our power to assure the humane treatment of Golden Retrievers and to accept unwanted Golden Retrievers, care for them medically, spay/neuter and rehabilitate them and place them in caring homes. To educate the public in responsible dog ownership to include proper health, spay/neutering, nutrition, training and good canine citizenship. To discourage unwanted or careless breeding practices and promote humane care for all dogs.

New England Equine Rescue North

NEER North actively rescues horses and donkeys in need. There are a wide variety of situations including owner surrenders, abuse and neglect, where these majestic animals are at risk of diminished health or, worse yet, heading to slaughter. NEER North is a safe haven where these animals are rehabilitated with the intention of adoption into new families. NEER North also networks closely with other like minded equine rescue organizations, assisting where needed.

Healing Paws For Warriors

Healing Paws for Warriors is a veteran founded / veteran led 501(c)(3) that provides rescue-to trained ADA certified service dogs to veterans faced with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Military Sexual Trauma (MST) at “no cost” to the veteran with continued support. Our team is comprised of a combat medical war veteran, practicing PTSD therapist, professional service dog trainer, a veterinarian, and many other supportive volunteers. Our dogs come only from local rescues. Our service dog trainer teaches the dogs and the veterans as a team. The dogs are not pets, they are service dogs with the complete protection and rights granted by the American with Disabilities Act. We are devoted to pairing and training service dogs with veterans at NO C

Paws Co

PawsCo is a 100 percent volunteer-run 501(c)3 animal welfare organization in Denver. PawsCo is dedicated to reducing pet overpopulation with a comprehensive approach, which includes three divisions: Spay/Neuter, Pet Food Drive, and Adoptions. The different components of PawsCo work together to improve animal welfare in Colorado by reducing the number of unplanned litters through spay/neuter efforts, keeping animals in their homes through pet food drives, and serving as a resource to shelters through foster-based adoptions. In 2016, PawsCo performed 547 spay/neuter operations, collected and distributed more than 38,000 pounds of pet food within the community, and helped more than 250 animals find adoptive homes.

After more than four decades of service, Animal Samaritans has grown to become the desert’s largest, most-comprehensive animal welfare organization by adopting out more than 15,000 homeless dogs and cats, rescuing more than 14,000 adoptable, at-risk shelter animals, and spaying and neutering more than 200,000 pets. We’ve educated more than 250,000 school children on kindness to animals and responsible pet ownership, and made tens of thousands of pet therapy visits to people in need.
