The Prince William SPCA was established in 2004 to benefit the animals of the greater Prince William County, Virginia, area. This all-volunteer organization is dedicated to protecting domestic animals from cruelty, neglect, and abandonment, and stopping the unnecessary overpopulation of companion animals. Our goal is to end the euthanasia of adoptable cats and dogs in Prince William County by promoting and supporting programs involving mutually beneficial relations between people and companion animals. The organization is run by an elected board of directors that oversee the operations. More than 200 volunteers are tasked with fundraising, program development, grant writing, marketing, membership coordination, community partnerships, special event planning and donor stewardship. We teach that private or commercial ownership, hunting for profit or sport and the destruction of natural habitat will mean eventual extinction for these creatures. Lastly, we believe that when we remove animals from the wild, we take their freedom and wildness, the essence of their being.
Mayte’s Rescue was founded by Mayte Garcia to place healthy, adoptable dogs in new and loving homes. In that, our goal is to rescue abused dogs and those who have been neglected or lost their owner due to foreclosure of their home. In addition we will aid in the fight against pet over population and abuse.

Animal House Cat Rescue and Adoption Center is dedicated to providing the homeless, abandoned cats and kittens of the St. Louis area with a better life. We maintain an adoption center that is safe, comfortable, healthy and enriching for the cats and kittens in our care.
The purpose of our organization is to protect and provide a voice for homeless animals through humane education and care for all animals needing a safe harbor. We endeavor to support the human-animal bond by keeping pets and their families together and finding homes for shelter animals. The Yellowstone Park Foundation works in cooperation with the National Park Service to fund projects and programs that protect, preserve, and enhance the natural and cultural resources and the visitor experience of Yellowstone National Park. YPF's Tomorrow’s Stewards Funding Initiative supports projects to enhance the park’s youth education programs and to promote the understanding, appreciation, and stewardship of Yellowstone among the next generation.
At Operation Overwatch we aim to heal at both ends of the leash; simply put, canines assisting veterans. Our outreach program serves veterans and first responders by providing them with professionally trained service dogs and animal assisted therapy. Operation Overwatch is a 501(c)(3) that rescues dogs from shelters across the country and trains them to be of service to warriors suffering from post traumatic stress disorder and/or traumatic brain injury, as well as those needing mobility assistance.
