Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs, Inc. was established for the charitable purpose of:• Rescuing, raising, and training the highest caliber medical service/assistance dogs• Pairing highly trained dogs with individuals afflicted by disabilities, including a focus on veterans with combat wounds • Building/restoring independence and improving quality of life, for both the recipient and the dog, while minimizing reliance on government, communities, caregivers, and families• Advancing successful service dog training practices by promoting appropriate trainer education and contributing to related research studies• Pursuing increased public awareness and education regarding current disability laws and contributing to new/enhanced laws regarding service dogs

They have been helping animals in their community since 1975. Every animal that comes to our shelter stays with us until they are adopted. They believe that each animal has unique qualities that someone is looking for in a companion and that time increases the chances of them finding each other.

Take Me Home Pet Rescue (TMHPR), located in Richardson, TX, is a 100% nonprofit organization committed to reducing our homeless pet overpopulation. All rescued dogs and cats are sterilized, microchipped, and provided with necessary medical care, before being adopted. Reference checks and home visits are completed ensuring a good fit. Our rescued pets live in foster homes until adopted to experience the love of a "real family" while waiting for their very own forever homes.

Individuals facing assisted living, nursing homes, hospice or those dealing with the death of a loved one now have an option: to relinquish their pets to us directly where they will be put up for adoption, thereby bypassing public intake.
